We are located at F-15-16 in the Riico New Industrial Area. Rajaram Marbles Pvt. Ltd. might sound like a big name, but we are just a group of people working in a warehouse. The industrial area is always noisy with trucks and machines, and our place is no different. We spend the day moving marble from one side of the lot to the other. It is heavy work and you have to be careful with your feet. We get crates of stone in and we have to unpack them to see what the quality is like. Sometimes the patterns are great, and sometimes they are just okay. We don't sugarcoat it for the people who come to buy. If a piece of granite has a weird spot, we point it out. It is better that way. The office is just a corner with some chairs and a desk covered in invoices. We don't have air conditioning out in the main area, so it gets pretty hot in the summer months. Most of our work is just logistics, making sure the right stone gets to the right house on time. We've been in the Riico area for a long time now. We know the other shop owners around here. It is a community of people who all do the same kind of tough work. We just keep our heads down and handle the stone. There is always a lot of clatter from the forklifts.
