Prashant Marbles Pvt.Ltd. is based at 15/6 in Kumbha Nagar, Chittorgarh. Being in Chittorgarh means we are right in the heart of the marble industry, so there is always a lot of competition and a lot of stone moving around. Our yard at 15/6 is where all the action happens. We get these massive blocks of marble in, and then we have to sort them and figure out which ones are best for slabs. It is a loud and dusty environment, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We’ve been working with marble for years, so we’ve learned a thing or two about what makes a good piece of stone. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or a big corporate office. Our office is just a small room where we keep the ledgers and the phone. Most of our time is spent out with the stone. Kumbha Nagar is a busy place, especially with all the trucks coming through. We have a small, hardworking team here. Some days the heat is pretty bad, but we just keep going. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just about getting good stone to people who need it. We’ve been here for a long time, and we plan on staying. It’s a tough business, but it’s what we are good at and it keeps us busy. We handle everything from the initial block selection to the final loading on the trucks.
