Being located in the Riico Industrial Area in Chanderia means we are right in the middle of all the noise and activity. Mewar Tiles Pvt. Ltd. has its spot at G-25, and it is a busy place to be. You can hear the machines running from early morning until the sun goes down. We handle a lot of tiles here. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. There is usually dust on everything, including our clothes and the desks in the small office. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a group of us making sure the orders are ready and the trucks get loaded correctly. Chanderia is an industrial hub, so there is always someone moving something nearby. We focus on the daily tasks. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing things. That is just how it goes in a factory setting. We have heaps of tiles stacked up, and we know our way around the warehouse even when it’s crowded. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make tiles and get them to people who need them for their floors or walls. It is practical work that keeps us on our feet all day. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but our routine stays pretty much the same.
