Menal Sandstone Stocks is situated right near National Highway No- 27 in the Bhilwara district. Being so close to the highway means we see a lot of trucks passing by every single day. We deal with stone, mostly sandstone that comes from the local area. It’s heavy work and the yard is always full of different slabs and blocks. Some days the sun is really beating down on the stone and it gets incredibly hot out there. We don't have a fancy office, just a small place to sit and talk to customers. People usually stop their vehicles when they see the stacks of stone from the road. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading. It’s a dusty job and your hands get rough after a while. We’ve been in Bhilwara for a good bit now and we know the stone business inside and out. It’s not about having a polished look; it’s about having the right material when someone needs it for a wall or a floor. We try to keep the stacks organized but with new loads coming in, it can get a bit mixed up. That is just the nature of working with sandstone. If you are driving down the highway, you can’t miss us. We are just local people providing stone to whoever needs it for their building projects. It is straightforward and honest work. We just do our bit and keep the yard moving as best as we can every day.
