Plr Granites

Yadamarri is where we decided to plant our roots with Plr Granites. It is a small place, and everybody kind of knows what everyone else is up to. We focus on granite because that is what is available and what people want for their floors and counters. Our yard is filled with different blocks and cut pieces. Sometimes the colors don't match perfectly between batches, so we spend a lot of time helping people find pieces that look good together. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. We wake up early to beat the heat, but by midday, it is usually pretty warm. We aren't some big city company with a glossy website. We just have our yard and our tools. If the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we just take a break and sit in the shade. It's a slow life in some ways but very busy in others. We get people coming in from the nearby villages looking for a sturdy stone for their porches. We show them what we have, talk about the price, and figure out how to get it to their place. There’s no pressure or sales talk. We just show the stone for what it is. Over the years, we’ve gotten to know the different quarries around here really well. It is a bit of a rough business with all the stone dust and heavy lifting, but it keeps us busy and it’s what we know how to do.
