Gupta Granites

Gupta Granites is located at Dr.No. 9-457 on Ghanda Street. It is a busy street, so it can get a bit crowded when we are trying to unload a fresh shipment of stone. We have been here at this address for quite a while, and the neighbors are used to the sound of the machines by now. Our shop is basically a long, narrow space filled with slabs of all sorts of colors. We don't have a lot of room for a big display, so we just show people what we have in the stacks. It is a lot of manual labor, moving the granite around so people can see the patterns. My hands are always rough from the stone and the water we use for cooling the cutters. We keep a ledger for all the orders, and it is usually sitting on a dusty table in the front. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town; we just want to get the work done. Sometimes the slabs have natural flaws or veins that people don't like, and we have to explain that to them. Most people around Ghanda Street know us by name. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or sales pitches. If someone needs granite, they walk in, we talk for a bit, and they buy what they need. It is as simple as that for us.
