Sri Balaji Granite

Sri Balaji Granite is situated at 3-652 on Sundarayyar Street in the Rayalaseema area. It’s a local place through and through. We have been working with stone here for quite some time now. The street can get pretty narrow, so it’s always an adventure when the big delivery trucks come through. We spend our days sorting through granite pieces and helping people pick out what they need for their homes. We aren't some big corporation with polished floors and air conditioning. Our floors are concrete and usually covered in a thin layer of dust. We work hard and our hands show it. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and careful maneuvering. We have a small desk for the ledger and some chairs for when people want to sit and talk about their plans. We don't push anyone to buy anything. We just let the stone speak for itself. Some slabs have interesting patterns and others are just plain and sturdy. We know most of the people who walk by our door. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We start early when it’s still cool outside. By midday, it gets pretty warm, so we slow down a bit and have our lunch together. It’s an honest way to spend the day and we’re glad to be part of the community here. There isn't much more to say than that, we just keep working and doing our thing.
