Monisha Granites

Monisha Granites is out in Kuppam on Vajravelu Chetty Street. The address is 74-9-28, and it is a place where we do things our own way. Kuppam is a smaller place compared to the big cities, so things move at a bit of a slower pace here. We have the yard on the street and that is where we spend the bulk of our time. Dealing with granite means you are always around heavy machinery and big slabs of rock. It is a dirty job, but it is what we do to get by. The street can get busy at times, but mostly it is just the usual local traffic passing through. We do not have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. It is just us. If you come by, you will see us in our work clothes, likely covered in some stone dust. We have different types of granite that come in from the quarries. We spend time sorting them and making sure they are ready to go out. The weather in Kuppam can be quite dry, which makes the dust blow around a lot in the yard. We have a small room where we keep the records and take our breaks. It is nothing fancy, just a few chairs and a table. We have been at this for a while now and we know the stones well.
