Sri Balaji Granites

We have been at 23/80 in the Industrial Estate for a good while now. Most days it's just us moving these heavy slabs around under the hot sun. It's tough work but we have gotten used to the daily rhythm of it. Third Main Road gets pretty busy with all the trucks coming in and out, so things stay quite lively around here. Sri Balaji Granites isn't a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. It’s more of a working yard where you’ll see us in our dusty clothes most of the time. We keep a variety of granite pieces stacked up against the walls. Sometimes people come in looking for a specific color for their kitchen and they end up walking around the stacks for an hour or more. We don't mind that at all. We just point them to where the different stones are kept and let them look for themselves. It can get really noisy when the cutting machines are running, but that's just how an industrial area is supposed to be. The guys here know their way around the different types of stone we carry. We see a lot of local builders and some regular families too. It's a very straightforward setup. We don't have fancy brochures or any of that stuff. Just the slabs and the tools we use to cut them down to size. Usually, someone is around to help if you have questions about a specific piece of stone. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our spot in the estate stays pretty much the same.
