Madhu Granites

You can find Madhu Granites over in Doddi Palli, near K Lakshmireddypalli. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big cities, but that’s where the work is. We have our setup here where we process the stone. It’s a quiet enough area until the saws start running in the morning. We’ve got a small team of local guys who know their way around granite. The days start early here because of the heat. If we don’t get a head start, it gets too hot to do much by midday. We aren't a fancy outfit with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s mostly just a shed and a yard full of stone slabs. We get the raw material in and try to make something useful out of it. It’s manual work for the most part, even with the machines we have to help us out. We don't have a website or any social media; people usually just find us by word of mouth or by driving past the yard. The road out here isn't always the best, especially after a big storm when it gets muddy, but we make it work. We’ve been part of this community for a while. We don't talk much about things like "strategies" or "growth." We just focus on the slabs we have to finish by the end of the week. It’s a simple way of living and working. We take the stone as it comes and do our best with it every day.
