Jai Balaji Granites

Our shop, Jai Balaji Granites, is located at door number 2-732 in Shanthi Nagar Colony. It’s a quiet enough area but we stay pretty busy with the granite work. We started this because there was a need for good stone in this part of town. We handle all sorts of granite slabs, mostly for people doing up their kitchens or putting in new floors. It’s a heavy job, and our hands are usually covered in stone dust by the end of the day. We don’t have a big marketing team or a shiny showroom. It is just us and the stone. We like it that way. When a customer comes in, they talk directly to us. We show them the different colors and explain how some stones are tougher than others. There’s no fancy talk involved. We just tell it like it is. If a delivery is going to be late because the truck broke down, we call and say so. People seem to appreciate that honesty. Shanthi Nagar is a nice place to work, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the residents over the years. We’ve helped many of them with their house renovations. It’s satisfying to see a slab of rock from our yard end up as a nice countertop in someone’s home. We’re just a small local team trying to do a decent job every day and keep the business going for the long haul. Most of our business comes from word of mouth around the colony.
