J K Granites

You can find us at J K Granites, located at Pl.No. 24/103 in Sai Nehru Colony. We are in the Doddipalli area, which is a bit out of the main way but still easy enough to get to. Our yard is where we keep all the granite slabs. It’s a big open space because granite takes up a lot of room. Most days, I am out in the yard with the workers, checking the slabs for any cracks or marks. It’s physical work and the sun can be quite strong during the middle of the day. We have a small office on the side where we keep the books and take phone calls. It’s not a fancy setup, just a desk and some chairs for when people want to sit and discuss their requirements. Being in Sai Nehru Colony, we have a lot of local people coming in who are building their first homes. We don't have any big slogans or missions. We just show the stone we have and tell them how much it will cost to get it to their house. Sometimes the yard gets a bit muddy when we use water to clean the slabs so people can see the real colors. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We just focus on keeping a good variety of granite on hand. It’s a long day from start to finish, but we are used to the routine by now.
