Harikrishna Marbles

Our place, Harikrishna Marbles, is located at 4-2042 in Greamspet. If you know where the Durgamma Temple is, we are right near there, sitting beside the Vijaya Durga Kalyana Mandaam. It’s a busy little corner of the world. There’s usually a lot going on with people coming and going for ceremonies at the mandapam. We have a lot of marble slabs standing around our lot. They come in from different places, and we spend our mornings sorting through them. It is dusty work, and the sun can be quite hot when you are standing out there among all that white stone. We don't have any big corporate setup. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of heavy inventory. People from around Greamspet stop by when they are fixing up their homes. We show them what we have and tell them how much each piece weighs or how it might look under different lights. Sometimes we just sit and have tea while waiting for a delivery truck to show up. The temple bells are a constant sound in the background of our workday. We focus on getting the measurements right because nobody wants a piece of marble that doesn't fit once it gets to the house. It's just a regular local business where we handle stone and talk to our neighbors.
