G. K. Granite Exp.

G. K. Granite Exp. is based in Durganagar Colony at 4-1977A. It’s mostly a residential-looking area, but we have our granite operations running right here. It is a bit different having a stone business in a colony, but we make it work. The yard is where everything happens. We spend our time checking the slabs and getting things ready for transport. Since it says export in the name, we are often busy with larger orders that need to be packed carefully. It is a lot of manual labor and we are always on the move. The sound of stone being moved around is just the background music to our day. We aren't big on talk or making things look better than they are. Our place is a bit cluttered with pieces of granite and the equipment we use. You can see the dust on the windows and the workers’ clothes. We just show up every morning and start moving the inventory. It is a steady grind and we have been doing it for quite some time now. People in the colony know the sound of our trucks by now. We just focus on the stone and making sure the day goes by without any accidents.
