Chandana Granites

Chandana Granites is tucked away in Mutharpally Village, which is part of the Yadamari Mandal. To get to us, you have to head toward the K.K. Palli post area. It is a much quieter setting than the big city yards. Most of us who work here are from the nearby villages, so we all know each other pretty well. The business is basically a part of the local landscape now. We have our cutting machines and the area where we store the blocks brought in from the quarries. It is not a place with a fancy front office or a receptionist. Usually, if you show up, you’ll find us out back near the saws or moving pieces with the tractor. The air smells like wet stone and earth most of the day because of the water we use to keep the blades cool. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic because of our rural location, so most of our work is for orders that were placed a while ago. Life moves at a bit of a different pace here in the mandal. We start early when the air is still cool and try to get the heavy cutting done before the afternoon heat really kicks in. It is just honest, local work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. There are no corporate meetings here, just the sound of the machines and the daily village life.
