Our office is tucked away in No: 88 A/F Mullai Flats, right on Illango Nagar Main Road in Virugambakkam. If you know Chennai, you know how busy it gets around here, but our little corner is usually alright. We’ve been operating Velosi Certification Services (I) Pvt Ltd from this spot for quite some time now. It’s not one of those big glass buildings you see in the IT parks. It’s a regular flat where we’ve set up our desks and filled the walls with shelves for all the files. Most days are spent going through documents and checking off boxes for various certifications. We have a few computers that have seen better days, but they get the job done. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we don't have to worry too much about the commute, though the rain can really slow things down on the main road. We usually take our tea breaks at the small shop just down the street. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big reception area or fancy coffee machines. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. Sometimes the neighbor's kids are playing outside in the flats, and you can hear them while you're working on a report. It makes the place feel more real, I think. We’ve grown used to the hum of the ceiling fans and the sound of the traffic outside. It’s just us doing our daily work here in Chennai.
