Apprentice

We are based over in Egmore, right in the Shri Chakra Appartment on P C O Line. Chennai is a very big place, but this little corner of 600008 is where we spend all our time. Apprentice is the name on the door, though it is not a big fancy sign or anything that stands out. We are just on one of those quiet side streets that people use as a shortcut to avoid the main road traffic. The building itself has been around for quite a bit, so it has that lived-in feel to it. We do not have a lot of extra space, just enough for our desks and the equipment we need to do our jobs. It gets really hot here in the afternoons, so the fans are always going at full speed. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or anything like that because we would rather just focus on getting the work finished. Usually, you will find two or three of us sitting around a table talking through the current projects. It is a relaxed atmosphere, but we do stay very busy most of the time. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute, which is nice. We like being in Egmore because it is central and easy for us to get to. We are not trying to be some huge corporation. We are just a small group doing our best in a regular apartment office. It works for us.
