Country Vocation

You can find us over at 14 8 on 11th Cross Street in Shastri Nagar, Adyar. The office is under the name Lgeetha. It’s a well-known part of the city, and we’ve been operating Country Vocation from here for some time now. The street is usually lined with parked cars and it can be a bit tight, but it’s a good neighborhood to work in. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s just a bunch of desks, some old computers, and stacks of paperwork that never seem to go away. We spend most of our time talking to people on the phone or responding to messages. It’s a small team of us here, and we all know each other well. There isn’t a corporate vibe at all. We wear casual clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. Adyar is a nice place because everything you need is close by. We don't have any big mission statements or glossy brochures. We just do the work that needs to be done every day. Sometimes it’s busy and stressful, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually hear the birds outside. We’ve had the same furniture for years and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. People who come by usually appreciate that we are just regular folks. We don’t try to act like a big multinational company.
