Velmurugan Stores

You can find us at 356 Madhavaram High Road, right in the Thapalpetti area. It’s a busy stretch of road, and there’s always something happening outside the front door. Velmurugan Stores has been around for some time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. The store itself is packed with all sorts of things people need for their daily lives. We don't have a fancy layout or bright neon signs everywhere. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to keep the shelves stocked up. Mornings are usually the busiest when people are heading out to work or school. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the aisles, but people don't seem to mind much. We talk to the regulars about the weather or the local news while we ring up their items. It’s a simple life, really. My family helps out quite a bit, so it’s a group effort to keep the place tidy. The heat can be tough in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We don’t do any big advertising; people just know we’re here on the High Road. It’s about being there when someone needs a quick item on their way home. We just take it one day at a time and try to be helpful.
