Ulfath Provision Stores

Ulfath Provision Stores is located at No.1 on 66th Street in R.V Nagar, Jafferkhanpet. We are quite close to the Children’s Park, so we get a lot of parents stopping by after they take their kids to play in the evenings. The shop is small and sits right on the corner, which makes it pretty easy to spot. We spend most of our time stacking bags of rice or checking the milk packets that come in daily. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, though it gets a bit loud during the school holidays when children are running around. We carry the usual household items that people run out of suddenly. If someone needs a single pack of biscuits or some washing powder, they come here. We don't have a lot of space for flashy displays, so everything is just piled up wherever it fits on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific item in the back, but we usually know where everything is kept. The fan in the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving during those humid Chennai afternoons. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here because we’ve been here for a long time. It’s a simple life, opening up in the morning and closing once the street lights have been on for a while. We just aim to have the essentials ready for whoever needs them.
