The Vijay Park

We are The Vijay Park, located at No.12 on Jawahar Lal Nehru Salai in Arumbakkam. This is a very busy part of the city, and the road outside is almost never quiet. Our building is a big one, and it’s been standing here for a long time. We have several floors of rooms and some halls for local events. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size going. We aren't a boutique hotel with fancy decorations. It’s more of a practical place. We have a lot of staff who have been with us for years. You’ll see them in the hallways carrying linens or fixing a light bulb somewhere. The carpets are a bit old and the elevators make a bit of noise, but they work. We get a lot of people coming for weddings or short business trips. The parking area can get pretty messy when there is a big function going on. We spend our mornings checking the kitchen supplies and making sure the front desk has everything they need. It’s a lot of walking back and forth. We don't use fancy software for everything, sometimes we just write things down on a notepad. It’s just a straightforward hotel on a main road. We do our work and go home at the end of the shift.
