Chheda Industries

Chheda Industries is situated over on Vallam Bangaru Street in Vepery. It’s No 42/25, right in the middle of a busy neighborhood. The street is usually full of people and carts, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a challenge some days. We have been in this spot for a long time. Inside, it’s a lot of manual work. We don’t have those high-end automated systems you see in the news, just good tools and people who know how to use them. Vepery is a crowded area, so we make do with the space we have. There are stacks of raw materials in the corners and the office is basically just a desk in the back. We do a lot of small-batch stuff because that’s what our customers usually need. The tea stall around the corner is where most of us go during the mid-morning break. It’s a regular routine. We start early to avoid the worst of the heat and traffic. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but we keep the work going inside regardless. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make things that people can actually use. Most of the families around here know us by now. It’s just a normal business doing its thing on a narrow street. We’ve got a small crew but everyone knows their job and we just keep it moving along.
