Suresh General Stores

Located at No 14A on Nt Patel Road, our store sits right in the middle of the Nerkundram and Koyambedu area. It’s a very active part of Chennai, with the market and the bus terminus not too far away. We get a lot of foot traffic from people moving through Mandaveli too. The store itself is filled with all sorts of things, from plastic buckets to stationery and small household items. It’s one of those places where you might find something you weren’t even looking for. We don’t have a lot of space, so we use every inch of the walls and even hang things from the ceiling. It can look a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Usually, it’s just me and one other person working here. We handle the customers as they come in, mostly locals who need something quickly for their house. It gets quite busy in the evenings when people are heading back from work. The noise from the road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small items we sell, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around, just a reliable place for the neighborhood where people can find their daily essentials without any fuss.
