St Johns Matriculation School

You can find St Johns Matriculation School over at No 13 in New Colony. This is in the Porur area of Chennai. It is a residential kind of spot, so it is usually a bit calmer than the main roads. We have been operating out of this building for quite some years. The street outside is narrow, so it gets crowded when the parents come to pick up their children. Inside, it is just a bunch of rooms filled with desks and chalkboards. We have a small area where the kids play during their lunch break. It is not a massive campus, but it is enough for the community here in 600116. The teachers are mostly local people from around Porur. We drink a lot of tea in the staff room between classes. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we are used to it. Chennai gets really warm, so the windows are always open to let a breeze in. We don't do anything too elaborate. It’s just a school where students come to study their subjects. We have a routine that we follow every single day from Monday to Saturday. It works for us. People know us by name around the New Colony area. We are just a regular fixture in this part of town, trying to keep things moving along for the kids. The building is old but it stays standing and we keep it as tidy as possible. We just focus on the basic work and the day-to-day.
