Alagappa Matriculation High School

Our school is located at number 49 on Flowers Road in Purasaiwalkam. We are also right near Kanagadeeshwar Koil Street. This is one of the busiest parts of the city. There’s always a lot going on outside our gates, with shops and temples and people everywhere. The school building is an older structure that fits into the street. We don't have a lot of extra space, so things are a bit tight inside. The classrooms have the usual desks and chairs, and the blackboards are well-used. In the mornings, we gather in the small open space for the assembly before the heat gets too strong. We have many students, so it’s always a lively place. The teachers have been here for years and they know how to handle the noise of the city. We don't have a lot of modern technology; we mostly stick to the books and writing. It’s a very traditional school that serves the local community. Parents come in to talk to us about their children, and we usually meet in the small office area. It’s not a polished or fancy place at Alagappa Matriculation High School. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are learning. We’ve been a part of Flowers Road for a long time, and we just keep doing our job every day without much fuss.
