Anna Gem Science Park Matriculartion School Higher Secondary

We are located on Gandhi Mandapam Road, right near the Engineering College in Chennai. This is a very busy area of the city, and the school is right in the middle of all that activity. Since we are a matriculation and higher secondary school, we have a huge range of students, from the younger ones to those about to finish their schooling. The location is quite convenient for people living in this part of Chennai, though the traffic on Gandhi Mandapam Road can be a real headache during drop-off times. The school grounds are fairly large compared to some others in the city, but we use every bit of space we have for classrooms and labs. It's a lively place, especially during the lunch break when hundreds of students are out and about. We have the usual science labs and stuff like that, which are necessary for the higher secondary curriculum. The buildings have been added to over the years, so it’s a bit of a mix of older and newer structures. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations; the focus is mostly on the daily schedule and getting through the syllabus. It's a bit of a loud environment because of the nearby traffic and the number of people, but that’s just life in Chennai. We’ve been here for quite a while and most people in the area know us simply as the school near the college. It stays busy all day long.
