Our school is right on Anand Nagar Main Road in the Okkiyam Thoraipakkam area. If you know MCN Nagar, we are at 697/3. It’s a fast-growing part of the city, so there’s always a lot of activity outside our gates. The building has been here for some time, and we try to keep things organized despite the busy surroundings. Students come from all over this neighborhood. The mornings are usually the loudest part of the day when everyone arrives. We have various classrooms and areas for different activities, nothing too fancy, just practical spaces for the students. Some of the teachers have been with us for years. We deal with the usual school stuff like exams, lunches, and keeping the kids on track with their work. The main road can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, especially in the evenings, but it makes us easy to find. We have some outdoor space where the kids spend their time between classes. It gets dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we keep the classrooms clean. We just focus on the daily tasks of running a school and making sure the kids are where they are supposed to be. It’s a busy environment but we’ve found a rhythm that works for everyone here. No day is ever really quiet, but that is just part of being in this location. We just keep going.
