Our school is located at No 81 on V G P Salai, which is just a short walk from the Saidapet Railway Station. It is a very busy part of the city, and you can always hear the trains and the traffic from the classrooms. Annai Velankanni Matric Hr Sec School has been a part of this Saidapet neighborhood for many years. The building is a tall structure that overlooks the busy streets nearby. Every morning, there is a big rush of students coming in from all the surrounding areas. It is a typical matriculation school where we have classes ranging from the early years all the way to higher secondary. We do not have a huge amount of extra space, so we have to be smart about how we use the rooms we have. The teachers are always busy with their lesson plans and keeping the children on track.
