Sri Thirumagal Stores

We are located at No 2-B Ptc Quarters on the 1st Main Road in Thoraipakkam. If you know where the KFC is in this part of Chennai, we are very close to that. Sri Thirumagal Stores is a small, local shop that serves the people living in the quarters and the surrounding area. We don’t have a lot of space, so we have things stacked from the floor to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze inside sometimes. We try to keep all the essentials like milk, bread, and other daily items. We open up early in the morning so the office goers can pick up what they need on their way out. Thoraipakkam has grown a lot over the years, and there is much more traffic now than there used to be. The 1st Main Road is always busy with bikes and cars. We spend our day mostly standing behind the counter or moving stock around. It’s just a few of us running the place. We don't have any big corporate structure or anything like that. We just do the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use a torch to find things for the customers. It’s just part of life here. We enjoy being a part of this community. We know most of the people who walk through our door and we just try to keep things simple.
