Sri Sakti Stores Park Town

We are tucked away at No 56 & 57 on Nyniappa Naicken Street in the Parrys area. Our shop is right behind M A Jacob, which most people around here know as a landmark. Parrys is a very crowded part of town, with narrow streets and tons of people moving goods on handcarts. Our store is no different—it's packed to the rafters with stock. We have boxes piled up almost to the ceiling, and sometimes it feels like a maze inside. We deal with all sorts of items, and because it’s a wholesale hub, things move very quickly. The air is always thick with the smell of old paper and packing tape. It’s not a quiet place at all. You can hear the shouting of laborers and the constant ringing of bells from bicycles outside. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning or marble floors; it’s just old wooden counters and plenty of heavy lifting. Most of our day is spent unloading trucks or helping customers who have traveled from far away to buy in bulk. We’ve been in Park Town for years, and we’ve seen the streets get more and more crowded. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s the nature of business in this part of the city. We open early and stay late until the last of the orders is packed and ready for transport tomorrow morning.
