Sri Sakthi Stores

We've been here on Ayamudali Street for a while now. It's a busy spot in Chintadripet and we fit right in. Most days start early for us at Plot No. 40. First thing in the morning, the shutters go up and the front gets a good sweep before the sun gets too high. It’s a basic store with no bells or whistles. Everything people usually need for their homes is kept right here on the shelves. Some folks come in for just one small item, while others arrive with a whole list of things. Fancy displays aren't really our thing. It’s just simple counters and wooden racks. Outside, the street is always moving with bikes and people heading to their jobs. The noise can get a bit loud, but that’s just part of life in this neighborhood. Most of the people who live around here are familiar faces to us. They might stop by to chat about the weather for a minute before going on their way. Keeping everything tidy is a priority, though the traffic nearby makes things dusty quite fast. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out with the work. Big ads or promotions aren't something we do. Local people just know we are here if they need something. If the item isn't in stock, we usually know who else might have it. Running a shop this way is straightforward. We stay busy until the evening when the street finally gets a little quieter.
