Sri Ram General And Provision Store

Our shop, Sri Ram General And Provision Store, is tucked away on Vembuliamman Kovil Street in K K Nagar West. We aren't far from Meenakshi College, so we get a lot of students coming in for snacks or pens. Mostly, though, we serve the people living in the apartments around here. We carry everything from spices to cleaning supplies. The shop is small and packed to the ceiling. Sometimes you have to wait a minute while I climb the ladder to get something from the top shelf. We don't have fancy displays or those bright neon signs. It’s just a regular storefront with the shutters we roll up every morning. We’ve been in this part of Chennai for quite a while. The street can get a bit flooded when it rains heavily, but we manage. My wife helps me manage the stock and the billing. We try to keep things organized, but on busy evenings, there are boxes of biscuits and crates of eggs everywhere. It’s a bit of a squeeze, but people don’t seem to mind. They come here because they know us. We aren't a big chain, just a local provision store trying to earn a living. We don't have any big slogans or goals. We just open the doors, sell the goods, and go home to our kids at night when the work is done.
