Our office is over at 67, Chintadripet, right near the Government Estate. Jai & Sons has been around for a good bit of time. It’s a family-run thing, started by the elders and now we’re the ones keeping the doors open. We deal with various bits of business that come our way every day. The building is older, and it has that specific smell of paper and old wood. We aren't big on decorations or fancy office furniture. We spend most of our time keeping track of orders and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the street noise outside. Chintadripet is a lively area, and being near the Government Estate means there is always something going on nearby. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been dealing with us for years. It’s a steady pace of work. We try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us at our desks surrounded by ledgers and files. We just do what needs doing to keep the business running. It's what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it a long time now. We'll be here tomorrow doing the exact same thing.
