Sivasakthi Stores

Sivasakthi Stores is a small place located on Radha Nagar Main Road in Chromepet. If you live around here, you probably know the street gets very busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. I’ve spent many years standing behind this counter, watching the neighborhood grow. We sell all the usual things you’d expect a local store to have. It’s not a supermarket where you get lost in the aisles. Everything is within reach, and if I don't have something, I usually try to get it for the next time someone asks. The shelves are made of wood and they’ve started to sag a bit from the weight of the bags of flour and sugar. I try to keep things tidy, but it's hard when there are boxes arriving every other day. Chromepet is a lively area, and Radha Nagar Main Road is right in the heart of it. We get a lot of students and families coming in for small things they forgot to buy elsewhere. I don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes we just chat with the customers about the local news or how the traffic is getting worse every year. It’s a simple way to make a living. We open early and close late, and that’s just how Sivasakthi Stores has always been for the people around here.
