Sirinu General Store

My family has been at 50 Madhavaram Road for a long time now. Sirinu General Store isn't anything fancy, just a regular shop where we keep the basics like soap, flour, and tea. Most people in East Gangavaram know where we are. It gets busy in the mornings when folks are heading to work and need a quick snack or something they forgot for breakfast. I spend most of my day restocking shelves and chatting with whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit cluttered, but we usually find what a customer is looking for if they give us a minute. The shelves are wooden and old, probably need a coat of paint, but they hold the weight just fine. We open up pretty early, around six, and stay till the sun goes down. The street outside can get noisy with traffic, but inside it's mostly just the sound of the ceiling fan. It's a simple living. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop here on the road. People come in to pay their bills or just to see what’s new on the racks. It’s been this way for years. I try to keep things organized, but with deliveries coming in at odd hours, there's always a box or two sitting in the corner waiting to be opened. That's just how a small store runs.
