Shri Poorna Foods Private Limited is located at 9, Manthralaya, which is on Surendra Nagar 4th Street in Adampakkam. Adampakkam is a nice, lived-in part of Chennai. Our place is more like a home than a factory. We focus on food that feels like it came out of a home kitchen. The 4th Street is usually full of kids playing or people heading to the shops. We fit right in. Inside Manthralaya, we have set up our kitchen and packing area. It is not very large, so we have to be organized. We have some shelves for the finished goods and a big table where we do all the weighing. The air always smells like roasted grains or spices. We do not have any big corporate signs. If you did not know we were here, you might just think it is another house. We like it that way. Most of the people working here are from the nearby streets. We drink tea together in the afternoon and talk about our families. It is a relaxed atmosphere, but we get the work done. We do not spend money on fancy packaging. We just use plain containers that keep the food fresh. Every batch we make is small. We do not make massive amounts at once. It is just us doing what we know how to do, day after day. It is simple and it works for us.
