Shri Mahaveer Provision Store

If you go down Thiruvottiyur High Road towards the Toll Gate Depot, you will find Shri Mahaveer Provision Store. We are at No 193/55, right by the Main Lakshmi Koil. It is a very busy spot in Todiarpet, and there is almost always a lot of traffic and noise outside from the buses and bikes. Our store is a small part of this big, loud neighborhood. We have been here for years, watching the area change around us. The temple nearby brings in a lot of people, and the sound of the bells is something we hear all day long. Inside the store, it is usually a bit cooler than the street, but it is always full of bags and containers of provisions. We don't have much room for fancy displays, so we just stack things where they fit. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside at once. We spend our days measuring out items and talking to the regulars who live in the apartments around here. Todiarpet is a hardworking place, and we are just happy to be part of the daily routine for the folks here. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that, just this one shop on the high road. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s our place and we know every corner of it.
