Shakespeare Institute Of English Studies

We are located at No 3 in Kodambakkam, Chennai. Our place is in the United India Colony, very near Anna Park. It’s a nice enough area and the park is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. We focus on teaching English here. It’s not just for students but for anyone who wants to speak or write a bit better. The classrooms are simple with chairs and a board. We have a lot of books about grammar and literature sitting on the shelves. Some of them are quite old now. The staff here really likes the English language, so we spend a lot of time talking about it. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except when a class is in session and everyone is practicing their speaking. We don't use any fancy software, just good old-fashioned teaching. Sometimes the rain in Chennai makes it hard to get to the office, but we usually open up on time anyway. The neighborhood is friendly and we often see the same people walking by to the park every day. We aren't a big corporate chain. We are just a small local institute that’s been in Kodambakkam for years. People know us for being straightforward. If you want to improve your English, we just sit down and get to work. It’s a practical way to spend a few hours a week. We've been here for quite a while now.
