Rcm Matriculation Higher Secondary School

Rcm Matriculation Higher Secondary School is located at No 8, Tagore Street, in the Kamaraja Nagar area of Chennai. We are right in the middle of a residential neighborhood, specifically Periyar Nagar. Being in Chennai, it’s almost always hot, so the school day starts early to make the most of the cooler hours. The building is tucked away on a side street, which keeps it a bit away from the main road noise, but it's still a lively place. We have classrooms spread across a couple of floors, and the stairs are always busy with kids moving between lessons. We follow the matriculation system, which keeps the students quite busy with their books. There isn't a huge amount of extra space, but we use the corridors and the small yard for whatever we need to do. Our staff is a group of hardworking people who have been with us for years. They know the families in Kamaraja Nagar very well. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves; we’re just a school where children come to get their certificates and hopefully learn something useful. You’ll see parents waiting outside on their bikes every afternoon, and that’s just the daily rhythm here. It’s a practical, local school for local people. No more, no less. We just hope the students do okay in their lives after they leave us eventually.
