Rajendran Stores

Rajendran Stores is a small place located at 152/2 on Camp Road in Selaiyur. We are pretty close to Parasakthi Nagar, so a lot of our regular customers come from around there. It’s a typical local store where we keep a bit of everything that people might need for their houses. We’ve been here in the Selaiyur-Tambaram area for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The road gets busy with traffic, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We don’t have fancy display cases or a lot of staff. It is mostly just us behind the counter. We spend our days restocking shelves and talking to the people who walk in. Some days are very quiet, and other days everyone seems to come in at once. We don’t do any big advertising because people know where we are. We try to keep the basics in stock so no one has to go all the way to the big supermarkets. The shop is a bit cramped sometimes because we try to fit in as many items as possible. It’s not a perfect setup, but it works for us and the neighbors. We open early so people can get what they need before work. It is just a simple way to make a living and stay involved with the local community here on Camp Road, and we plan to stay here.
