You can find Rajasingh Stores at 6/14, Station View Road in Kodambakkam. Like the name of the street says, we have a view of the station from here. It is a lively part of town, always something happening outside the door. We have been in Kodambakkam for a long time. The store is filled with all sorts of items that people in the neighborhood might need. It is a bit crowded inside sometimes because we try to keep enough stock on hand. We do not have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything is where it should be. Customers come in and out all day, some just for a quick chat and others to pick up their regulars. The traffic on Station View Road can be a bit much during rush hour, but we are used to the noise. We open up early and stay until the evening. It is a steady life. We do not do much advertising; most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The building itself is older, but it has character. We keep things organized in our own way. It might look a bit cluttered to someone else, but we know exactly where everything is. Running a store like this takes a lot of time, but it is what we know. We just focus on keeping the shelves ready for whoever walks through the door next. It keeps us busy and we like the routine.
