Rajammall Stores

Rajammall Stores is a small grocery shop on Vanniar Street in Porur. We are located at number 20. This street has a lot of movement throughout the day. We have been here for a while now, and our shop is just a regular place where you can get your kitchen essentials. We have bags of rice, lentils, spices, and other things like oil and sugar. The shop is not very big, so we have to use the wall space as much as possible with high shelves. We use a ladder to reach the things at the top. Most of our customers are the people who live in the houses and flats right around here. We know most of them quite well. Sometimes the stock comes in late and we have to stay back to get everything inside. It’s a lot of physical work, carrying heavy items and arranging the racks. We don’t have a computer for billing, just a simple calculator and a pen. It works fine for us. The weather in Porur can be quite humid, so we keep the door open for some breeze. We don’t do anything special for marketing; we just stay open and serve the people who come in. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. It is just a basic shop for the local community.
