Rajalakshmi Stores

We are located at 49/14 Nerkundram Road, right in the Chinmaya Nagar part of Chennai. A good landmark for finding us is the Iyyapan Koil, which is very close by. Because of the temple, we see a lot of people passing through this street, especially on certain days of the week when it gets extra crowded. Our shop is a basic place where we stock the kind of things people use every day in their kitchens and around the house. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood grow and change. The shop floor is usually busy with people coming in for milk, soap, or spices. We don’t have a lot of fancy lights or displays. We just put the items on the shelves where people can see them. The street outside can get a bit loud with the traffic and the temple bells, but we are used to it by now. We spend a lot of time chatting with the regulars who live in the nearby flats. We try to have what they need so they don’t have to go all the way to the main market. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but people still find their way to us. It’s just a regular local shop run by regular people who know the area well. We keep things moving one day at a time.
