Raja Store

You can find Raja Store over on Dharga Road in Pallavaram. We are situated in Thiruvalluvar Nagar, which is quite close to the Pallavaram Bus Stand. Being near the bus stand means there is always a lot of movement and noise around us. It’s a lively spot to be in, especially during the morning and evening hours when everyone is commuting. The store itself is packed with all sorts of things people need. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every corner has something in it. It feels like a real local shop because it is one. We spend our days behind the counter, helping folks who pop in for a quick item before catching their bus. Sometimes it’s just a neighbor stopping by for a chat. The floor is old, and the shelves are a bit worn out, but they hold everything just fine. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. It’s more about making sure we have what people are looking for when they walk through the door. The fan overhead hums all day, trying to keep the heat away. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us and the people who live around here. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot, doing the same daily routine of opening up and closing down when the sun goes away. We count the change by hand every single night.
