Prestige Importer

Our office is at 115M, Bunder Street, which is right in the heart of Parrys, George Town. If you know this part of the city, you know how hectic Bunder Street gets. It’s narrow and full of people carrying heavy loads on their heads. At Prestige Importer, we are right in the middle of all that daily chaos. We bring in different items and manage the storage and sales from this small space. The building is old, like most things in George Town, and the stairs are quite steep and narrow. We spend our days talking to suppliers on the phone and checking on shipments arriving at the docks. The salty air from the coast isn't too far away, and you can really feel it on those humid days. It’s a noisy place with people shouting and bells ringing from the cycles outside. We don’t have much in the way of a lobby or a fancy waiting area for visitors. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of papers. We’ve been operating out of this area for quite some time now. You learn how to navigate the crowds and the tiny lanes after a few weeks. We like being where the action is. It’s a very practical place to be for an importer because everything is close by. We don't bother with fancy corporate talk. We just tell people what we have available. It’s hardworking and messy, but it’s our life.
