Prema Trading

You can find us at No. 35 on Muniyappa Chetty Street. We are right in the heart of Perambur. Prema Trading has been operating out of this building for a good bit of time. The street is one of those narrow ones where you have to be careful how you park. We spend most of our mornings unloading goods and checking invoices. It is a trading business, so it is all about what is coming in and what is going out. There is always a stack of paperwork on the desk that never seems to get smaller. Perambur is a busy neighborhood, and Muniyappa Chetty Street has its own rhythm. We know the other shop owners nearby. It’s the kind of place where people stop to chat for a minute before moving on. We don't have any fancy office furniture or air conditioning that works all the time. It is just a functional space where we get things done. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to sweep the floor and reorganize the shelves. We don't make a big fuss about what we do. It’s just trading. We keep an eye on the stock and make sure the customers get what they asked for. It is a simple way to earn a living, and we have been doing it this way for years now. The tea stall on the corner is where we usually take our breaks when things get a bit too hectic inside.
