Pon Vidyashram Group Of Cbse Schools

Our school, Pon Vidyashram, is located on Plot No 42 on Thirunganasambanthar Street in the Madipakkam area of Chennai. If you know Madipakkam, you know the streets can be a bit narrow and winding, but we are right there in the middle of the residential block. It’s a busy neighborhood, and the school fits right in with all the houses around it. The building is a few stories high, and we use every bit of space we have for the classrooms and labs. In the mornings, the street gets quite packed with cycles and scooters as the kids arrive. We have a small courtyard where we do the morning prayers and sometimes a bit of exercise. The Chennai heat can be tough, so we have fans going in every room, and the windows are usually kept open. Our staff room is always a bit cluttered with papers and textbooks, but that’s just how it is. Most of the families who send their kids here live within a couple of kilometers, so it really feels like a neighborhood school. We don’t use much fancy tech, just the usual boards and chalk. It’s a practical place where the teachers focus on getting through the syllabus and the kids focus on their exams. There isn't any corporate gloss here; it’s just a regular Chennai school doing its thing every day. We’ve been here for years and the routine hasn't changed much at all.
