Pawan Provision Stores

You can find us at 42 A, Thirumal Nagar Main Road. We’ve been in Kolathur for a long time. Pawan Provision Stores is where I spend most of my life, honestly. From early morning until late at night, I’m usually behind the counter. The street outside is always busy with bikes and people going to work. We stock the usual stuff like rice, sugar, and tea. Nothing too special, just the things people need every day. I like the routine of it. Opening the shutters, checking the stock, talking to the delivery guys. Sometimes the crates get piled up too high and I have to move them around so people can actually get to the back of the store. It’s not a polished place with air conditioning. We just have a couple of tube lights and a few big fans to keep the air moving. My brother comes by in the evenings to help out when the office crowd starts stopping by on their way home. We don’t really do any promotion. People just know we are here on the main road. If you live in Thirumal Nagar, you’ve probably walked past us a hundred times. We just try to keep enough stock so people don’t have to go all the way to the big market. It’s just a simple provision store for the locals.
