Pavithra Store

Pavithra Store is tucked away on Vpk Street in Perungudi, Chennai. We are at number 10, right near the Heritage House. If you have walked around this part of Perungudi, you might have passed us. It is a fairly quiet street, though it gets a bit more life during the commute hours. The shop is small and simple. We do not have fancy displays or anything, just rows of products that people in the neighborhood use every day. We have got the usual stuff like milk, bread, eggs, and various household cleaners. Chennai weather can be tough on the inventory, so we try to keep things moving fast so nothing sits on the shelf too long. The fans are always humming to keep the air moving inside. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once, but everyone is used to it. We know the regular customers by name mostly, or at least we know what they usually buy. Sometimes we run out of things if the truck is late, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It is just how it goes. We do our own cleaning and stocking, so if things look a little cluttered, it is because we have been busy. There is no corporate office or anything like that, just us here at the shop on Vpk Street trying to keep the shelves full and the regulars happy with what they need for their homes.
