P J T Flours & Rice

You can find P J T Flours & Rice over at 121, Chitrakara Street. It’s a narrow enough street, so it gets a bit crowded when the delivery vehicles arrive. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighbors all know us. Inside, it smells like fresh grain and ground flour most of the time. We have our grinding machines in the back, and the front is where we keep the rice sacks stacked up. It’s a dusty environment, but we’re used to it. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the grain, process it into flour, or sell the rice as it is. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them, which is never fun. But mostly, things run okay. We have regular customers who have been coming to Chitrakara Street for years. They know what they want, and we make sure they get it. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished storefront. It’s just a plain shop with a few of us working hard to keep the shelves full. We take pride in just being a reliable place for people to get their basic food supplies. If you're in the area, you'll see us there, probably moving some heavy bags around. We don't have a phone that takes messages, so if you want to talk, you just have to come by in person. That's the way we've always done it.
